Andrea Moore is one of our Medical Assistants specializing in Family Care with 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. A Midwest City native, Andrea graduated from Carl Albert High School and went on to earn her Registered Certified Medical Assistant Certificate with Honors from Everest College in Austin, TX. She began her career in OBGYN care in Texas before moving back to Oklahoma City, where she worked with Dr. Pittman for five years. For the past eight years, she has been a member of Dr. Shadid’s team.
Andrea’s favorite part of her job is the support and friendship of the ladies she works. She also cherishes the relationships she has built with her patients, many of whom feel like extended family. Inspired by her mother, a registered nurse, Andrea has always had a heart for helping others, and pursuing a career in healthcare felt like a natural path for her.
Andrea has been married to her husband, Dean, for 15 years, and together they have three children: Sabastian (14), Zeena (10), and Declan (6). Currently, much of Andrea’s free time is spent traveling with Zeena for her competitive cheer and softball teams. When she’s not on the go, she enjoys cozy evenings at home watching murder mysteries and her favorite TV shows. Andrea also loves spending time with her best friends on weekends, hosting game nights, or enjoying a good BBQ.
In addition to her work in healthcare, Andrea is the owner of Bad Moms Bakery-OKC. She began baking cakes for family and friends 14 years ago, and three years ago, she officially launched her home bakery.
